The Horsey Hilton Story

My name is Mimi Kelley and I fell in love with this property at first sight decades ago. While it was already a horse boarding facility, it was struggling and I did not feel it had reached its full potential at the time. I purchased the farm in 1996 and set to work to create a very unique place, where a small number of horses could safely live in a spacious and quiet environment while also remaining in full training with access to top level training barn amenities.

It was my goal to convert my own passion for training and competing in dressage to a lifelong story of living with horses. Now 20 years later, I am proud to say that Horsey Hilton truly offers something special for horses of all breeds and riders of all disciplines.

Our large property offers a serene training environment with a lovely picnic area, access to world class instructors teaching beginning through Grand Prix level dressage, and two spacious arenas. As we live on site, the facility is continuously monitored.

Horsey Hilton is a premier boarding facility nestled on 10 Acres in the quiet town of Loomis, California. We specialize in providing a natural boarding and training environment with utmost attention to personal care for your horse. Our facility with its covered arena, irrigated grass pastures, full outside dressage court, and oversized horse paddocks is a wonderful place to visit in all seasons.

The Difference Is In The Details

We specialize in careful handling and feeding of our Horsey Hilton horses and take personal interest in all of them.

Stalls are fully matted, kept clean, picked and stocked with clean water.

We insist on feeding only high quality meadow and orchard grass hay, on a regular schedule.

Graining service of your own selected combination included; we understand the importance of correct supplementation. Through years of experience we know how to spot trouble right away.

We keep the number of horses intentionally low at the farm to preserve the integrity of our exclusive atmosphere, and to ensure plenty of space for each horse in a stress free and natural environment.

We are open for all trainers, farriers and veterinary services, but should you wish, we also have several referrals to pass along.
